Velox First video

What a great flyer...
i have flown and sold boomerangs , rookies , kangaroos , harpoons.
but this thing will beat them all.
we had no idea about CG (well we calculated)
deflections or mixers.
gear was partial Fei-Bao and Jet-1A.
fuel tank we toulk from a F-18 2,6 liters.
From the first flight up it was a real suprise that NO trimming was needed.
CG was spot on
on rolling the Velox would not point nose down or up , like many of its Brothers and sister twin boom models.
Knife edges where perfect.
slow handling was perfect.
flaps needed afterwards a mix of 25% with down elevator for a nose up position and slowing down for landing
as can bee seen on the picture.
the spring of the front oleo is also changed it would dugg itself in at take off.

now it is time for production...
we reported the small changes needed , as also is the fueltank
with the fueltank full we needed to click the trim 2 times up
but then hey! we got over 15 minutes of flying time.......
Fei Bao "Velox" : this will be a Winner...
the engine was a Simjet 1200 70N
i think this will be perfect from anything fronm 60-120 N
where above 100N a bit of restriction is needed.
i am SURE this Velox with a Supersport will go faster then 250MPH
